A branding job can be one of the most exciting but also one of the most challenging things to do as a graphic design and marketing company. I found myself noticing one thing about creating the perfect logo, its not about how good you design, its about how well you listen. We have a new client on the horizon, Evolve, which provides the services of image consultant and personal shopper. While speaking to the client there was one thing that just screamed at me, which was she said “one thing I do is come into someone’s closet and start them all over.” That is a powerful statement, I would have bartered some services but it would be to just clean my closet not for any new clothes, but anyways, that statement just stood out. That night upon my couple of hours of sleep, this idea just clinched my brain to the point that I couldn’t let go, so I awoke and grab the pen and the booklet and went back to sleep. When I woke up, I smiled and realized no matter how good of a design and marketing agency could be, we could be great art directors by poetically drawing the pictures with words alone. The dreams of logos didn’t require me to see much but allowed me to listen more.
Introduction to the dream…

Back from a few days of rest and relaxation in the Dominican Republic. Was definitely a great experience, but one of the rewards of it all was I was able to actually take a vacation. Sometimes in our profession we do not sit back and take in the rewards of our labor. This was definitely as great reward and I look forward to many more of them!
