Setting Trends, Naturally

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Well they do it with hair, we do it with design.  As a client of NTS, with NTS being a client of MediumFour, we felt it was best that we provide them a website upgrade and SEO services.  Natural Trend Setters is one of the leading natural hair styling companies in South Florida.  An award winning company, the deserved to have a website that represented that.  We took into consideration of a lot of clients being mobile and likely needing services while on the go.  The “Long Page” design of MediumFour is just fun. We can’t describe it another way, but you don’t have to worry about multiple pages loading and the information is all right there.  You know a project has went well when the final phone call from the client ends with, “MediumFour, you know I love you, I love you, I love you, wait you know that I love you”, Simone Hylton, co-founder of Natural Trend Setters.  The natural colors, the simplicity allows the viewers to focus on the images and the content of the website, with minimal instructions.  This site represents the scroll of history that is attached to Natural Trend Setters.

The Taste of Jazz

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

The perfect client, speaks, “I need help, a better look, just do what you do” It’s nothing better then to allow an artist, unlimited time, music and freedom to create.  Okay well the time wasn’t unlimited but the project just felt so right. Our strategic partner, The Marome Agency bought the perfect client, Jazz Café and Grille. With the team of MediumFour, we were able to really dive into this project, but also with the dream of what would we do if we owned the location.  Brand development is one thing, becoming engulfed in the project allows passion. This location is in South Florida, but in our mind, we imagine it in a little town in France.  So that leads to simple, brand, icon development that can be used in multiple formats.  Branding will make this a shirt, a napkin wrap, a profile picture of Facebook, who knows.  I guess you can tell we enjoyed this project and another satisfied client of MediumFour.

…G.E.M.S. Revamped!

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

I looked back at this project that I did last year around this time. I asked myself, “why in the hell did I design this?”. Neither here nor there here is the new look verse the old look. Let us know what you think. I did CPR on myself!
