jeremy and i both do this often because a good idea is often gone the next morning.
this means that if you have a favorite band, a favorite magazine or a favorite blog you make time for it, guilt free! small breaks for inspiration are always worth it when followed by a good creative workday!
find the people in your life who love you AND your work and make you feel really good about what you are doing. avoid negative people during busy work times!
this is a must! friends in your industry will keep your inspired and challenged.
obsessions keep me so inspired. find little things that you can fancy that make your day and cause you to think in a new direction.

Barbee.
When we first heard the company’s name we immediately thought of Barbie and Ken. However, dolls and dream houses were the last things on our client’s mind. A private cocktail service is what BARbee provides. Still, that only explained one part of the name. We needed a logo. We needed it fast. The whole office took a look at the name. A real evaluation: right there on the dry erase board. “Bar/bee” was written in huge letters. We understood the “bar” part of the name, but what did “bee” have to do with anything? 2.5 minutes later our intern walked into the room and said, “So what’s all the buzz about?” An “Aha!” moment at its finest: bee=Buzz. Even though this buzz may not be the same buzz we were speaking of, less of a sound, more of a feeling. From that point on, a couple of stripes here and a olive there, that was all we needed to take off with creating the logo! I guess now would be a good time to show you or for us to go grab some drinks…
