At the beginning of the year, we celebrated our client, Natural Trend Setters’, rise to the top of of search engines. Since, that blog entry, many have asked us “What’s the secret?” . Well, we’ve decided to finally let the cat out of the bag. It’s called Search Engine Optimization, or SEO.
Here are Four things to remember when optimizing your website.
1. Think of the top 10 key words related to your site. One page can only be ranked for so many keywords. Use these words as meta-tags.
2. Put links from relevant websites on your site.
3. Place your top 10 key words repetitively on your home page. (No more than five times each, otherwise search engines will register it as SPAM).
4. Make sure words on each page of your website are relevant. Otherwise, people will end up on your site by accident, leading to a bounce. The higher your bounce rate, the less likely you are to show up on page number 1 in a Google search.
That should be enough to get you started, but for more information, feel free to contact us.

A couple of weeks ago, I attended Success South Florida Magazine’s Banquet to honor the top 40 leaders of South Florida under the age of 40. Guest speaker, Rhea Brown, Vice President and General President of Macy’s, tackled the often debated question “What is success?” She explained that it is not just about how much money you make, or what fancy title you have, but about the people you help along the way. We speak a lot on this blog about how our work impacts the community. We even joke a lot about how “MediumFour loves the kids”, but it feels great to watch a member of our team be recognized for the same greatness that we see in him all of the time. Congratulations Dante Fillyau for being the “Top 40 Under 40″, and thank you Success South Florida Magazine for taking the time to acknowledge the hard work of our community leaders.
