a brand is more than a logo, its a gut feeling, it represents you when you can’t speak, what does your brand say #mediumFOURwordThoughts
This was the line that started it all for the midnight rant. As a true designer/marketing/visual artist/video game/65 mustang/fast cars/kind of guy, the element of my creativity never sleeps. Most people watch movies, I watch product placement, evaluate the logos that show up in the movies, paying attention to the lifestyle association and what exactly speaks of it. Then I look at art, I can admire the art, but you fall in love with the story. Then I even think of my peers, some that are way more talented than me and then some that come to me for advice. Most clients will come to you based on talent, they only sign the contract based on a gut feeling. This person cares about my company just as much as I do if not more.
Now with that being said, we get into the ending of that rant, please never consider your brand to just be a logo. There is a science behind it that is so hard to explain it would be the length of your creativity stretched across the world, four times. Simply a brand is the voice of your company when you can’t speak, the mark on the map of success, the purple heart of your war, the love of your life, your brand. To simply look at a brand as nothing but a logo, would basically think that the bitten fruit, the swoosh, the multiple leaves, the wave, the openness to the world of a window, was not a calculated thought. Never consider your brand to just be as is, or to just be a logo, it is so much more. That is the blood line that runs from your heart to your fingertips for each deal that is created.
If they don’t remember you, they will remember your logo, if they remember both, great, if they only remember one, what would they say?

There are always trending topics that should be overlooked, then every once in a while you find one that catches your attention. #PositivePush was the trending topic that caught my attention today. That means to me more so, how do you stand straight to a parallel of hate. The #PositivePush is a motive that almost every business owner should look into. Exactly how do you move forward when you feel you have tapped out all of your resources, creativity and you are just waiting for that second round of clients or business. There is no waiting, you have to be willing to push forward, the #PositivePush. The element of recreating yourself should be just like your workout, when you get to a plateau, try something different, change your strategy and I would be willing to say you have a promise of a new result. If you have not updated your website in 6 months, its time to do so. If you haven’t actually promoted an idea with measurable results on Twitter, don’t say that Twitter doesn’t work. If you haven’t created a marketing campaign with a “niche” result, its going to be hard to say you had a #PositivePush. Let’s try to be specific. What area of your business do you want to improve, beyond simply cash flow. If it is cash flow, where do you make your most cash, lets improve that, or which of your revenue streams generates the least amount of cash, lets improve that. There is always room for a #PositivePush.
